Junior Photos Time Changes

Team photos will occur THIS WEDNESDAY night for the first time.

This will avoid the chaos of squeezing photo shoots into Game Days. All children are requested to attend in HOME GEAR (GREEN shorts) and training will commence directly after the photos.

NB: TIMES HAVE CHANGED to accommodate children’s commitments.

Indicative schedule as follows:

Under 09 – 5:15 – 5:35 pm
Under 11 – 6:15 – 6:35 pm
Under 13 – 5:35 – 5:55 pm
Under 15 – 6:35 – 6:55 pm
Under 17 – 5:55 – 6:15 pm

Sports trainer

Become a Trainer for The Devil Today!

The Devil needs some new sports trainers for Season 2017!

If you have what it takes to be our new Head Sports Trainer or you are interested in being one of our Sports Trainers then read on!

Head Sports Trainer:

The Successful applicant will be required to:

  • Manage and organise a team of trainers on Tuesday and Thursday nights and games every Saturday throughout the season (availability can be negotiated), including game day personnel management
  • Oversee ordering and stock management (i.e. tapes, oils etc)
  • Provide appropriate injury prevention and management (i.e. taping, massage, hydration, first aid)
  • Liaise with other health professionals in the overall care of players

The club is looking for applicants who hold as a minimum, Level 1 Sports Trainer accreditation.

This position is ideal for current students of allied health degrees and others looking for additional work, with flexible hours.

Remuneration for the position is negotiable.

Sports Trainers:

The club is looking for applicants who ideally hold, Level 1 Sports Trainer accreditation. Prior experience in sports taping is preferred, but club assistance with taping courses is an option.

    • 12:30 – Intra-Club Match, combined U15 & U17 teams only
  • Sunday 26th March
    • 08:30 – U9’s v Tullamarine
    • 09:45 – U11’s v Tullamarine
    • 11:00 – U13’s v Tullamarine
    • 12:30 – U15’s v TBA
    • 02:20 – U17’s v Tullamarine

Registrations

  • Be quick! Registration must be paid to guarantee a spot as U13, U15 & U17 teams are filling up fast! At this stage we are not planning on creating a 2nd team in any age group in 2017
  • For children playing U9’s, Auskick Registration is now open – Click here.
  • Teresa will be available at KPFC again this Friday (17th Feb) for warm-up top fittings and to process any registrations
  • We expect the 1st delivery of warm-up tops around March 10th

We now have sponsorship from a gym – Livestrong Primal Fitness – providing discounts for sessions and membership.  The U17’s are currently doing a 3 week program with Livestrong, so if anyone is interested in attending a local gym, talk to our U17 boys for their feedback!
